I went for dinner on my birthday - the team really looked after us and made it a special occasion (decorations, drinks, dessert). The food was great especially the mixed seafood sharer starter, meat and cheese board and the pizzas. It's a great spot in the neighbourhood and I recommend it to all. Many thanks to the Donna Sofia Team for a lovely evening.
Favourite local for takeaway pizza! Have ordered a few times and their dough is delicious. The owners are very welcoming too so please support a local business! Looking forward to eating in to try more of their menu.
Great Italian-run neighborhood restaurant with delicious pizzas, a generous charcuterie board, and handmade pasta. Food was served at a leisurely pace - no rushing the guests - and the manager, Flo, was very interested in getting feedback. Did we it finish our pizza because it could have been better? Our answer was no, the pizza was wonderful but we were full and looked forward to the leftovers. He brought us complimentary limoncello at the end. We sat in the back patio and enjoyed eating al fresco.
Flo and the team organised a wonderful evening for a family celebration. They really went the extra mile to make sure our daughter had the best evening. The food and service is exceptional and I would highly recommend Donna Sofia for a meal or special occasion, as they really do look after you. They have a lovely private garden room at the back with a big table as well. Perfect for Summer.
I've been to Donna Sofia at least 5 times since it opened, and I've had a lovely meal on every occasion. The food is delicious, I've had their fresh seafood, cured meats, cheeses, pasta, pizza, meat and fish dishes. It's all been cooked perfectly using fresh ingredients, and the food is complimented by nice, sensibly priced wines. It has an agreeable, relaxed atmosphere and all the staff are attentive and friendly. It's an excellent neighbourhood restaurant and a fantastic addition to the area. Gennaro and Fabio are the boys!
Incredible food. Seafood pizza and Buffalini pizza to die for. Fresh high quality ingredients and gorgeous sourdough style woodfired! Will go again. Also if you like negronis but aren’t drinking, ask for a Sanbiter! Tiramisu also amazing! Should have ordered 2! Lighting could be a bit less bright! Warmer / candles?
We had the best dining experience , very attentive manager , the owner was friendly and accommodating . The pizza , pasta and rocket salad were all exceptional . Loved the outdoor dining, and friendly staff . Well priced and great service . Will definitely be calling this restaurant our local !
I can’t thank Flo and the team enough for a beautiful day spent with you celebrating our son’s Christening. The space was perfect for our party of 19 (12 adults, 6 kids and a baby). They even put on a drinks reception in the garden for us before lunch as it was a lovely sunny day. The food was all brilliant – beautifully thin pasta in the lasagne, juicy mussels with a spicy kick and, of course, a gorgeous tiramisu. Everyone made sure we all felt relaxed and looked after – including our baby who was given a big plate of broccoli to tuck into! Thank you for your warmth and attention to detail. We all left feeling very full and very happy. This is a beautiful family restaurant with delicious food and great people.
